In order to ensure the safety of our players and to continue our tradition of providing a safe and fun environment for all, the MGSA requires criminal background checks for all new coaches. These checks will be handled through local law enforcement agencies, done in the least intrusive manner possible, with the utmost respect for the privacy of those who donate their time to coach in our league. The MGSA pays for all fees associated with these checks. Prospective coaches will receive complete information these background checks.
